VOC detection (LDAR)

The Clean Air Law requires that plants conduct a survey to detect and treat LDAR leaks in equipment components as a prerequisite for their continued operation.

The equipment components are divided into three categories and each category has a different testing frequency.

• Category 1 (pumps, compressors, mixing equipment…) at a frequency of 4 cycles per year.
• Category 2 (valves, stoppers, blind flanges, plugs….) at a frequency of twice per year.
• Category 3 (flanges and threaded connectors) once a year.

Our Company provides LDAR services using advanced sniffer systems in accordance with the LDAR testing procedure of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and detection of leaks using an Optical Gas camera.
